I was born in Venezuela and raised in Chilean Patagonia, where I develop a strong sense of curiosity about what's on the other side of a mountain. Trail running has allowed me to not only discover what's on the other side of our mountains at home but also around the world.
While studying Electronic Engineering, I needed an outlet from the physics and math books. So I decided to get out and run. Every month I ran a little further, and 10 years later, did my first 100 milers at the UTMB in 2019.
For me, consistency and respect for my body and the distance are the foundations of my training. While making sure that being an athlete has as little negative impact on the environment as possible. I love running from my doorstep and racing as locally as possible.
