"I started running early on in life, back in my hometown of Barrie, ON. Racing on XC and track teams through elementary and high school, I learned the fundamentals and how to apply myself to achieve the results I wanted, including OFSAAs in my senior year.
After a hiatus during my university studies, I rediscovered my love for the sport and at the same time was introduced to ultrarunning while starting my career up in Grande Prairie, AB. I was intrigued by a nearby event called The Canadian Death Race, so I put my head down, went to work immersing myself in the culture, and came up big with a win in my first ever ultra. I had found my calling.
And I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been running professionally since 2021, nowadays training out of Calgary, AB, with the world class Canadian Rockies as my playground. With multiple wins and podiums at ultras in Canada and the USA, including becoming Long Course Trail Canadian champion in 2022, I’m still only just getting started."
